Window repair & replacement

Sticking sliders, draughts, leaks, broken glass, failed seals and worn hardware — fixed where it is worth fixing, replaced where it is not.

Most windows that 'need replacing' need a repair first: new rollers in a sliding door, a dropped sash re-hung, a handle or a lock, a failed seal, a pane of broken or misted glass, or water coming in round a frame that was never sealed properly into the stone.

A repair visit finds the cause and prices the fix before anything is done. Where the frames are past it — rotten timber, corroded old aluminium, a profile no part fits any more — we say so and quote the replacement, measured on the same visit.

Surveyed by us, then delivered either by us as your contractor with CheckYourTraders-verified installers, or by a vetted partner who contracts with you directly.

What this covers

What it costs

A repair visit for small jobs — rehanging, hinges, handles, re-sealing — runs within the band below on published Maltese guide figures. Parts such as rollers, locks or glass are priced on the visit, before they are fitted.

A band, not a quote: the low end is a straightforward job with clear access, the high end is the same job with the complications a site visit finds. Materials are included where the line says so.

How it works

You deal with us. We survey and measure free, quote from a published rate card, then either deliver the job ourselves with CheckYourTraders-verified installers or introduce a vetted partner who contracts with you directly — and we stay your point of contact throughout.

Questions people ask

Water comes in under my balcony door when it rains. Why?
Usually the threshold: a sill that falls towards the room instead of away from it, blocked drainage slots in the frame, or failed sealant between the frame and the stone. All three are repairs, not replacements, if the door itself is sound.
Can you get parts for old aluminium windows?
For common systems, rollers, handles and gaskets usually still exist; for some old profiles they do not. We tell you after looking, and if parts are gone we price the replacement instead.
Do you do emergency glass repairs?
Send the details through the form, marked urgent, with a photo. We ring back to arrange a visit to make it safe, and the new glass is measured and cut for a second visit.
